SKRYPT
Terms

The deal between you and us.

Last updated June 2026

These are the rules for using SKRYPT. We’ve tried to keep them short and in plain English. If something feels unclear, email hello@skrypt.xyz.

What you can do

Sign in, upload your resume, pick a handle, build a personal website at skrypt.xyz/yourname, edit it, and share the URL with anyone. That’s the product.

Your account

You need an email address. We sign you in with magic links and one-time codes; there’s no password to lose. Keep your inbox secure — anyone with access to your email can sign in as you.

One account per person. Pick a handle that’s yours to claim. Don’t impersonate real people or organizations. If two people land on the same handle, the first one to claim it keeps it.

What you put on your SKRYPT

You’re responsible for the content of your site. Don’t:

  • Post anything illegal where you live or where we operate.
  • Impersonate someone, claim qualifications you don’t have, or put up information about other people without their consent.
  • Host hate speech, harassment, or threats.
  • Use SKRYPT as a redirector to malware, phishing, or fraud.
  • Scrape or abuse the service — automated mass-uploads, fake accounts, or attempts to evade tier limits.

If a site violates these rules we’ll either remove the content or suspend the account, depending on severity. We’ll tell you why.

The Free tier

Free is free. There’s no expiring trial. The only real cap is on re-importing a new resume — once every 30 days — and a small “skrypted with love” line in your footer. Everything else (editing, theme swaps, publish, unpublish) is unlimited.

Paid tiers

Pro and Founder are subscriptions, billed monthly by our payment provider Lemon Squeezy. You can cancel any time from your dashboard — your access continues through the end of the current billing period, and we don’t pro-rate refunds for partial months.

If you cancel, your site stays live on the Free tier. You’ll keep your edits and your handle — you just go back to the Free limits (one re-import per 30 days, footer badge re-enabled, no AI suggestions or analytics).

If we change pricing on your plan, we’ll email you first and you’ll have at least 30 days to decide whether to stay.

Our content

The themes, the editor, the AI tailoring — the software itself is ours. You get a license to use it for as long as you have an account. You don’t get the right to copy the underlying code or resell SKRYPT.

Your content

The text you write, the projects you describe, the resume you upload — that’s yours. You give us the rights we need to host it, parse it, render it on your published site, and back it up. Nothing more.

Delete your account and the content goes with you. See Privacy for the data side of this.

AI features

The AI parses your resume, picks design choices for you, and (on Founder) can suggest rewrites of your text. These suggestions are exactly that — suggestions. You review everything before it lands on your site. We can’t guarantee the AI gets everything right, so check the output, especially for anything important (job titles, dates, links).

Availability

We aim to be up and useful. We can’t promise zero downtime. We’ll do our best to give notice before planned maintenance and to communicate clearly when something breaks.

Liability

Use SKRYPT at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to what you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We’re not on the hook for indirect or consequential losses.

Termination

You can stop using SKRYPT any time — cancel your subscription, or email us to delete your account. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. If we close yours, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to export anything that’s yours.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters to existing users, we’ll email everyone with an account before the change takes effect.
